Virgo, the Truth Will Shock You, but You Need to Hear It
The Flaw You Keep Searching for Is Not Yours
When something changes unexpectedly, your mind can produce a detailed list of possible explanations. You revisit conversations, analyze your choices, and search for the moment when you might have made a mistake. This habit gives you a sense of control, but it can also convince you that every disappointing outcome must be connected to something you did wrong.
A person’s distance, rejection, or inconsistency may have caused you to question whether you were too demanding, too cautious, or not emotionally open enough. You might believe that changing one part of yourself would have created a different result. Yet the truth could be far simpler: the other person was not prepared to offer what you needed.
Not every unsuccessful connection is evidence of personal failure. Sometimes two people want different things, communicate differently, or reach the same situation with unequal levels of emotional maturity. You can behave thoughtfully and still encounter someone incapable of meeting you with the same honesty. Their limitations are not proof that your standards are unreasonable.
Consider how often you have adjusted yourself while the other person remained unchanged. You may have softened your requests, waited longer than you wanted, or accepted explanations that failed to address the real issue. If maintaining a connection requires you to constantly reduce your needs, the problem is not that you are difficult to satisfy. The problem is that you are trying to create compatibility through self-denial.
