Taurus, Your Guardian Angel Has an Urgent Warning About Someone From Your Past
Listen Closely to the Part They Leave Out
A person can change, and you can be open to hearing what they have to say. Just pay attention to whether their story includes the choices that hurt you. “We were both in a strange place” may be true, but it can also blur a specific problem. If they broke a promise, vanished during a hard period or kept you waiting for commitment, can they speak plainly about that? Can they hear your account without immediately correcting it?
You do not need a perfect speech. In fact, a slightly awkward conversation can be more reassuring than a polished one if it contains honesty. Listen for a clear understanding of what happened and what they would do differently. If they say they miss you but cannot explain what they want now, you may find yourself back in the same position: providing emotional support while they decide how close they want to be.
Notice what happens after the first conversation, too. An apology matters less if they follow it with inconsistent messages or plans that depend entirely on their schedule. If they genuinely want to rebuild trust, they will understand why you cannot restore it in a single evening. They will make plans they can keep, answer reasonable questions and allow you to take your time. Those ordinary actions may feel less exciting than a dramatic confession, but they give you something useful to judge.
There may also be an uncomfortable question for you. Are you interested in this person as they are now, or in the life you once imagined with them? It is easy to confuse the two when the past still feels unfinished. Give yourself enough space to learn who is actually standing in front of you.
